Homes are sold to families in need at no profit and with no interest.

OUR MISSION
The mission of Oconee County Habitat for Humanity and its 200 volunteer members
is to eliminate poverty housing in Oconee County by giving families an opportunity to improve their standard of living by
acquiring a home of their own.
It is not a charity or a give-away program. Partner families make a down-payment and pay a monthly mortgage.
They also invest hundreds of hours of their own time - sweat equity - into building their houses and the houses of others.
