Our Objective is to provide 8 - 9 homes a year to meet the increased need for decent affordable housing in Oocnee County. To date, OCHFH has provided approximately 80 families with such housing. We are in constant need for volunteers - skilled and unskilled. We are in search of construction supervisors, plumbers and electricians. Contruction crews work a 4-hour shift Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Contact Mary Sue Plague at 864-944-6888 to volunteer, learn about current construction sites or for any additional information. To meet our objective of 8-9 homes per year, we are building both stick built and Habitat approved modular homes. We have erected modular homes in Fairplay and Seneca.
