CARS FOR HOMES DONATIONS

The market for used cars is exceptionally terrific right now; last month the average gross revenue per car was over $900. This is three times what we were getting just a short time ago and we’d love to take advantage of this favorable market! EVERYTHING you do to promote the Cars for Homes™ program in your area will realize a larger revenue from car donations than ever before.

Oconee County Habitat for Humanity presents the
11th Annual Swingtime in the Springtime
Lead by cornetist Ed Polcer and his All Stars

Ed Polcer’s All Stars represent some of the finest musicians in the country playing traditional small combo jazz similar to that presented by the Dukes of Dixieland or the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.  Ed Polcer performed at Princess Grace’s wedding and has played by invitation at the White House.  He and most of the other musicians will be playing at the Atlanta Jazz Party from April 20 – 22 where he will be presented with the first ever AJP Lifetime Achievement Award for his many contributions to presenting and popularizing traditional jazz.

Other Members of this year's group are Mark Shane on piano, Frank Tate on bass, Russ Phillips on Trombone, Ed Metz, Jr. on drums and South Carolina's own Pete Neighbours on clarinet.  These musicians play at festivals both domestic and international and on numerous jazz cruises. We are extremely fortunate to be able to offer musicians of their caliber this far from traditional jazz centers, such as New Orleans or New York.
