From Newry to Seneca via Westminster

After founding OCHFH in 1986, Ann Ledbetter ran a one-room store front resale store to raise money towards building Habitat for Humanity homes in Oconee County.  In 1993, OCHFH started its annual Auction and Elegant Flea Market in the old Winn-Dixie Store in Westminster.  The first of the seven auctions held  raised $11,000, subsequent ones $20,000 each.

On January 15, 2000, OCHFH opened its first 3000 sq. ft. Resale Store at 135 Bountyland Road in Seneca.  Its proceeds financed 2-1/2 houses per year.

Construction of the new Resale Store at 130 Bountyland Road started in September, 2005; the store opened for business in January, 2006.
